We had a great time enjoying each other "in-person" once again. No Zoom for an hour or FaceTime for any amount of time can replace the delight we both had of being in each other's company for just an hour and a half.  LESSON Learned! Let us be very careful the next time anyone suggests a way to protect our health is with something that is so hurtful to it. Imagine how long we all participated in staying away from each other when in reality that practice was both physically and mentally detrimental.

Believe it or not I will be teaching "Welcome Wellness! as part of the Fountain Hills Community Center Zoom Program. The focus will be on helping people build their immune systems in fun and practicals ways. It is one thing to take outer precautions, but best of all is to be strong on the inside as a way to ward off disease. The second set will be for parents who want to do planning for their children as well. If you are by any chance interested, that would be great. You can also share this information with anyone who you think might like to come. I want so much for people to have these skills for staying well. The more people that stay well the quicker the virus will disappear. It actually doesn’t matter if you don’t get sick by your own immunity or by the vaccine as long as you don’t get sick. In one way, these two methods go hand-in-hand.  Here is the sign-up information: WELCOME WELLNESS-STRATEGIES THAT WORK Learn basic strategies for maintaining body, mind and spiritual health. This meditation-based course introduces each week new tools for healthy living. Every session includes guidance for how to keep practicing your skills. (more) Well checks, small group gatherings, masks when needed, staying the normal 3′ apart and using hands-on-interactive learning strategies once again are all excellent and will keep us alive, well, joyous and free. We need to start having strong families again and benefit from their strength.  These are some wise words from a professor I know. She taught me much more. “Think Mind, Body and Spirit:” BREATHE well, EAT balanced, MOVE regularly and SLEEP soundly. When the body and mind are healthy, they free the spirit to relax and flourish in beautiful ways. Interesting that those are the four basic “practices” needed to keep having a strong, healthy and very protective immune system. It will be my pleasure for the New Year to teach these specifics through my business.
