Hi, I’m Mary Kate, but most of my clients and friends call me MK. I’ve been a professional photographer for 17 years.

I was born in Chicago, grew up in Indiana, went to school in DC and now live in Frederick, Maryland with my husband Joe, our toddler, and three rescue dogs. Life is crazy and busy, but that’s how we like it around here.

I've photographed a little bit of everything over the years, but my focus is now corporate work. As a storyteller, I love being able to share the narrative of a business. Each one has a unique story and trajectory, so it’s never boring.

Community is a big deal to me. Here in Frederick, I’m a member of the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek and the leader of Frederick’s TuesdaysTogether Group. It’s so important to me to give back and help others.

With any free time I have, you'll find me reading, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, traveling with friends (gosh, I miss that), or riding my Peloton bike to nowhere.
