About Us

We are Cooke County's emergency food pantry. We provide clients who identify as food insecure approximately 75 pounds of food, enough to feed the average family of four for two weeks. Clients are eligible to receive food once every 30 days.

How We Got Started

in 1988, the Cooke County Ministerial Alliance came together to create an organization that would serve the county and they could support. This organization was a means to reduce duplication of services. VISTO is that organization. We remain a faith based organization and so we are dependent on contributions from local business', churches, and private citizens. We do not receive any state or federal monies.
