(more) Honestly, a solid background makes it difficult on several platforms on the web and it more costly to design on branded products like shirts etc. Using a transparent background and doing colored lettering like Option A1 is better in my opinion. Purpose as to why is that it allows whatever background that the logo is placed on to be it's background (white shirts, yellow shirts, purple backdrop for a website etc etc. It will be more manageable that way and allow more flexibility. Don't get me wrong though the Option A pops, but it's not flexible like a transparent one. As a professional either one will work, but have the logo designed in a black/white form only for black and white laser printing and then the full color and see how they both look. Place them on different backdrops that you would pick out for marketing material and site designs and see how they pop or not, do they blend or not. Hope this insight helps!

(more) In review of the site, I see where @Mark Mehling is going, well done on the evaluation Mark very well laid out constructive criticism. Nicely done, I totally agree. As for other aspects of the site here is what I found: 1) Not mobile friendly, very constricted and very wordy for a mobile site using android (360x640) And iphones 2) Speed test:  https://tools.pingdom.com/#5a780b1a05000000           a) a C rating          b) page size is 1.1mb           c) load time of 1.06s          d) 57 Requests.  So not bad at all on the speed or requests, but the rating should be higher. In order to accomplish this the site needs to be more friendly to a load time speed by combining the coded files to ease the file download time. If you have multiple CSS files for example, combine them to a single CSS instead and that would decrease the time to download and load multiple CSS files to a single file. Your font you have on the site is using 25.98% at 280.5kb, why use special font? Use a font that every standard computer has and it will drop your load time because the computers won't have to download that file.  Your meta information is not complete, SEO will tank, you have a good title, but not localized specific (company name | City, State | Affordable Health etc etc) Search engines and end users like this, makes browsing easy. As well as the Description needs to be a good 200 characters, As well as you need to include your meta search key phrase, your meta tag words, and make sure you have the proper links, cross links, internal and external on each page. Don't forget to create a corner stone page that has majority of your content on it, but more importantly have the other pages only around 500 words to keep the wordiness down, browsing pleasantry up and help the end user actually stay on your site and read and search and learn about your company. A site map is created under /sitemap.xml for the Search Engine Optimization as well, but I only see the home page there, none of the others, this is bad, every page and every link needs to be posted in that sitemap and updated monthly with a new priority and new last modification dating in order to keep the Search Engines happy and keep you ranked.   I noticed you are not using WordPress and had this developed another way, I don't see any of the keep alive scripts in the site, nor do I see any active scripts related to traffic updates and notices to the Search Engines.  So all in all, looks pretty, the layout needs help, do as Mark suggested and then evaluate if you have chosen 1) the right platform 2) the right host/or the right person to host it 3) The correct expert to make sure they are helping you prepare your site for marketing correctly 4) the right marketing vehicles to launch it on.

(more) In reading through the comments and considering the question, I'm in agreement with the others on this as well, take my logo for example, it's a symbolism from my family crest slightly customized to fit the company's needs. Which in turn provides a customer or potential customer the wow expression due to the detail and the how and what questions as well. It becomes a conversation point and an open door to sell a product or present. But not all logo's need to be detailed as such. But they need a logo, the logo helps develop their "Brand" and Creates the Memory Mark in consumer's minds so when they see the logo (without all the text, paragraphs and explanations) just the graphic, they instantly see the company, it's vision, it's focus and it's integrity. Just to pin point a few things it does for a company.  In my experiences I have customers that have logo's both that have been provided and done professionally and done by their child or a friend. And actually even some that haven't decided on a logo and we still built a website with a logo in mind, but no placement.  And in my analytic reports it shows a higher traffic rate to the Professionally designed Logo branded companies and lower traffic rate to the non-professional logo designed and almost zero if not a handful of traffic to the ones with no logo's. This has a great deal to do with the owner's ability to market his business, but as well as how he brands it.  I hope this helps to shine some light and I wish you well in all you do to all of you!

Easy question, Because the "End User's" are looking at a computer screen and think it's related to the computer which it is because of the browser, IT needs a Graphic's designer on hand or in contact of so that they can refer to the designer based on need. The custom white board themes up to just customizing existing free themes. Giving the over all look and feel of a professional site to the customer as a custom site design and management to them with the sophisticated back-end that supports their needs for data collection and management.

Take a stack of business cards with you and make sure your portfolio is on the card along with contact info. Social Media, LinkedIn etc needs your presence, use hootsuite to broadcast and most importantly lock in a good compass, having a good moral and ethical compass proves your character to the public and allows the word of mouth to spread.
