Glen Ellyn  has a Holiday walk (nee Christmas Walk) every year for the last 45 years.  Fantastic turn out as we light the Town's Christmas tree on the same night.  This allows families to shop locally  before Black Friday.  This gives the local businesses a heads up chance before  the big box stores.  Also promotes shopping locally so your tax dollars stay in your  community.  Proud to say I help start the program.  WOW  what a success for our community.
