The FB users who are involved granted the mining of their data to not just Cambridge but other data mining companies just the same. It's only an issue because of the attempt to link Cambridge to the current administration. If you apply the definition to this issue of what a breach is, this does not constitute a true breach. It does constitute a breach of trust between users of Facebook and Facebook after Zuckerberg promised on record it would never sell user data in 2009. https://twitter.com/joshdcaplan/status/97649204827... this post has the interview video. So update your privacy settings and read the lengthy and painfully small fine print in the TOC when you take those personality quizzes. YOU and YOU ALONE are responsible for your privacy. DO NOT EXPECT OTHERS TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT.

(more) You need to consistently post on your business page, share on your personal page, join groups that are related or have an interest in your business (eg, business groups or craft pages) invite your friends to like your page, and then you need to investigate doing some sponsored posts targeting a specific audience. It is also a good idea to test different post types during different times of the day. I know that art type posts for my business do much better in the morning and evening and techy or heavy content posts like security concerns do better right after lunch and before quitting time. You need to post 3 or 4 times a day for a couple weeks and look at views and reach for each type post. This will give you a rough idea of what is getting looked at. Finally, be real! Inject yourself, your humanity into every post. You are competing with a rolling timeline so be original and be consitently consistent.

The best method is to submit your url to be indexed here https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url, then make sure you have content. Make sure that your content is relevant to your site- aside from a personal blog section to humanize things with events pulled from real life, you should be talking about orange bicycles if that page is about orange bicycles. Additionally, make sure that you use your heading tags to bold titles and increase the importance of key statements. Google notices this as do all search engines. Finally make sure that you continually add or freshen up content. If you have questions Im happy to help out in anyway I can.

I know businesses that have few likes and do tremendous business from FB leads. You need engagement not likes. If you have engagement in your posts, the likes will come naturally. Consistency is also a factor- if you have wide spaces where you lack posts and then post a few or a lot in a small period of time you are likely not reaching 1/10th the audience you have. Get a schedule and a program like post planner to help you level out your schedule- then keep at it consistently. Pick a day to schedule your weekly posts then fill in with personal content to humanize your business. No one "likes" a robot. Good luck.

How can I help you today?Always direct marketing that is personal to the you your premise. Make it personal, direct and not too wordy. While the answers give are good they are very wordy- think of it like we do when we develop branding for packaging. You are in essence, a package on a shelf in a "bloody sea of competition" and you have to stand out. What makes this more challenging is you're targeting personal aspects of people's lives so adding the you/your to your marketing easily brings it to that personal level. This type of personal touch with some carefully selected imagery will help deliver poignant messages that provoke both emotions and personal connections.
