Agora Coworking offers 16+ private offices, shared and dedicated desks, meeting rooms, phone booths and event space to coworking members and freelancers, startups, small business owners, and even remote-corporate employees looking for a place to work and collaborate without a lengthy commute; all right here in the heart of Grayslake! Members can work in a secure and comfortable environment which boosts productivity, in privacy or collaboratively.

While looking for a shared office space for our own consulting business, we realized that there is a common need for a collaborative space in the Grayslake area. Having worked in corporate environments in the past, we thought about how we could bring the office closer to home. "Agora" as defined by Encyclopedia Britannica was " ... in ancient Greek cities, an open space that served as a meeting ground for various activities of the citizens", and that is the essence of our business; making an office close to home that aims to bring together people from different trades, in a place where they can work, meet, collaborate, and new ideas can be born. We wanted to be community focused and tried to borrow ideas from other coworking spaces that integrated and gave back to the local community. This quickly became our "why" and integral part of our mission.
