How We Got Started

We met a need in the executive development and retained executive search area that did not exist locally. Today we are considered a unique, high character, boutique firm with clients all over the US. We have a suite of over 50 predictive assessments in numerous industry sectors and job roles. Our values from the start were and remain Character, Competence and Collaboration. I used to work all the time.   I felt like I really couldn't "rest" until I had worked myself to exhaustion.    All that did was, in fact, keep me exhausted.   I quit being effective!  Now I work consistently (and effectively) 6- 7 hours a day....most days with a 1/2 hour lunch.  Unless I have a... (more) I used to work all the time.   I felt like I really couldn't "rest" until I had worked myself to exhaustion.    All that did was, in fact, keep me exhausted.   I quit being effective!  Now I work consistently (and effectively) 6- 7 hours a day....most days with a 1/2 hour lunch.  Unless I have a client "issue" that I must do that day, I generally let myself quit for the day and come back the next when I'm rested!  I also don't take work home with me except very occasionally!   And, I don't work on weekends.

I do not.  I have men and women clients and tend to speak with them and to them the same way I would want to be treated.   I am much more likely to speak differently depending on one's "personality or thinking style", both of which drive a individual's interest in certain things or their... (more) I do not.  I have men and women clients and tend to speak with them and to them the same way I would want to be treated.   I am much more likely to speak differently depending on one's "personality or thinking style", both of which drive a individual's interest in certain things or their preferences for communication.    An assessment helps me know, for sure, what their style is, but because I try to listen well when they are talking, I can generally figure out what's important to them by their communication style in the conversation.

Make sure you use a highly predictive assessment to understand an individual's hard-wired personality traits...one that will predict how they are likely to perform in a particular job. When people are in the 'right jobs'..jobs their match their natural personality traits,they will perform... (more) Make sure you use a highly predictive assessment to understand an individual's hard-wired personality traits...one that will predict how they are likely to perform in a particular job. When people are in the 'right jobs'..jobs their match their natural personality traits,they will perform highly and feel engaged. You don't have to "engage them". They are engaged by doing what they are cut out to do. This is the biggest mistake companies make....assuming they know what someone can and will do! It's so easy to find out by using a truly predictive assessment.
