Please join us -- events are posted in a carousel near the top of the group page; you are invited to join any or all events each month.

Welcome to the San Diego Alliance, hosted by volunteer ambassadors Paula Roberts, Shelley Gardner, and Danielle Knauff-Raylowski. We currently hold networking events in Vista, Carmel Mountain, Hillcrest, and via Smart Connect. Events may change as our team of volunteers grows or changes.

Your Alliance is a place for you to get to know other Alignable members in person; these referral partners may own businesses you can visit and support through your purchases.

We welcome your advice and business questions for the group. Please keep in mind that posts should be focused towards the group, rather than towards creating a social media presence or sharing your business offers. Community events, business milestones, and personal achievements are welcome. (Please think about whether your post would help another member who has no interest in buying your services, but might like to know enough about you to recommend you to a friend.)

Hello, I went to your meet & greet at 1230 Auto Park Way, Escondido 92029, and unfortunately, I didn't find the location. I saw the North Island Credit Union at address 1230A. My recommendation is to give either the business name or directions on the address so people can find the location.

Cybersecurity is becoming part of doing everyday business, but I’m curious how small business owners actually view it today.

Do you see cybersecurity as:

• Complicated to understand?
• Too big of a cost for my business?
• Something you only worry about after an incident?
• A competitive advantage?
• A way to build more trust with customers and partners?

I think the conversation is starting to shift from just “Are we protected?” to “How do we show others we take protection seriously?”

Curious where other business owners stand on this question.
