I'm creating a logo for an oil and fuel transport company. Would appreciate feedback on favorites from marketers, designers or just anyone with an opinion. Thanks in advance:

First, it’s absolutely critical you can read this from 50 ft away or more.  Small type is bad.  Period.

Second, if no one really knows who they are, cutesy is a waste.  The name snd they do is all that matters.  Multi time CEO, strategy and commercial consultant.

Why does Weldon matter?  At all?

big W?  Who cares?  The colors?  They are awful to be blunt.  No contrast.  Yellows blend with black.

Blues with white, red with white.  White text snd such a background.

Smaller Weldon over a bigger oil.

Now it’s starts making more sense.  No way to add the actual concepts, no upload option.  Happy to send something.

Well since I can't attach an image I'll try and describe what I believe to be a better solution. There is a natural "W" that is created when aligning three droplets side by side. When these three droplets over lap each other, you get a negative space to drop "WELDON OIL" into. Now you have a unique logo symbol where the droplets represent the basic product or service, a "hidden W" and the Co. name spelled out. I've been doing this for 30+ years and the more unique the logo-signature is, the more memorable it will be.

Professionally speaking Brad I am a believer that every element of a brand logo should help tell perspective consumers about your company - Your selected color scheme instills a sense of warning rather than oil and fuel transport - I agree that Ross has provided you with some viable alternatives worthy of consideration - If not the designs themselves then the color scheme that instantly reflect your companies business -

I like 6 because the company name placement looks like it is going somewhere.  I have another idea if you are interested.  Let me know.  Best of logo success😊
