Local Discussions What's happening in the Sellersburg business community
Reaching out to our locals again.
I've been trying to set up an in-person, locals, meet up and I had a positive response from a few folks from my first post, that would attend an in-person meetup for networking locally.
Online works best for people that do internet marketing beyond the local area, but we all need our marketing and our networking to reach our local communities, so I am again proposing an in-person meet-up to network and build local relationships in the hope that we can all benefit from expanding both our networks and businesses; perhaps even finding resources that we did not know was available, or even needed.
So, anyone truly interested, PM me directly, Re; what your availability and good places to meet as a group.

Self interest v benevolent self interest.
I was in a webinar today on the subject of networking, and it got me thinking about something that many of us forget about.
Benevolent self interest.
We're all familiar with self interest; it's a way of living, thinking, and working where the only goal is for ourselves. a good example is the vulture capitalists that have been damaging our national economy for decades.
The other, Benevolent self interest, is something that I learned from people talking about my grandfather and his small business, which went away after he passed.
Benevolent self interest is where everyone wins. As it pertains to business, we use our goods or services to help others while still making a fair profit for ourselves/companies.

Hello Kentuckiana area entrepreneurs.
I was in a meet and greet with one of our fellows today and thought that it would be a good idea for us local folks to get out and meet each other, see what we can do for each other and just network in person, like humans are meant to do.
I am thinking somewhere fairly central to all of us, such as Clarksville or New Albany, unless someone has a better idea.
Were I to organize such an event, how many would like to be there?
