Local Discussions What's happening in the Thousand Oaks business community
How do you ensure you're choosing the right Medicare plan during the annual adjustment period?
Every year, from October 15 to December 7, Medicare beneficiaries have the chance to review and change their health or prescription drug plans. It's crucial to avoid any surprises with changes in copays or drug lists.

Something I noticed researching my own industry this year: out of 46 cleaning companies around LA, only 4 put any prices on their website. Everyone else asks for your address and phone number before they'll say a number.
It made me wonder how other local businesses handle it. Do you publish prices or price ranges? If you do, did it change the kind of inquiries you get? If you don't, what's the reason — every job is custom, competitors, something else?
Curious how Thousand Oaks owners think about this.

Local question for other owners here. About a year ago we did something almost nobody in our industry does. We put our prices on our website. Full ranges, by home size. Every other cleaning company I asked said it was a mistake: competitors would undercut us, people would get sticker shock before we could talk to them.
Neither happened. What happened is the calls got shorter and better. People show up already knowing what things cost, so the conversation is about their house, not about whether we're too expensive.
I'm curious who else in the Conejo Valley has tried this. Do you post your pricing? If not, what's stopping you and if you did, what changed?
