If the secretary doesn't have an answer she should get their name number and question and someone will follow up with and answer.  You now have there contact info, get them a good answer with a follow up letting them know your company is there to help them. What has worked in the past?  Do you keep in contact with past customers with a news letter or some type of touch.  Constant contact is what my company uses.   Past customers are a great source for new customers. I thought you a friend mine that is losing his eyesight and was in a similar business, now retired and can’t drive any more.  I don’t think he had any concussions so you aren’t him.  You probably have some very loyal customers and would understand your issue.  You may also know others in your business that could help out with the understanding you will be back.  I would come up with a contract of some sort that would cover you in case they try to say that is my customer now.  At the same time you need to take care of yourself or you won’t be able to do your career at all.  Good luck on your decision.  It would be nice when you do make it to let us know, and when your back the results.
