My husband and I reside full-time in Tanzania. Here is where all kinds of wonderful inspiration as an author of Children's books come from. Each storybook opens up a child's imagination to learn the culture, food, toys, and life in East Africa. Through humor and hands-on activities, parents/teachers love the interaction with their readers and students.

If you are an author, what is the best advice you can give someone who is just writing their very first book in terms of marketing it?

Don’t give up. It takes time and trying different avenues. What works for one author may not work for you. I sell most of my books on my author website and during speaking engagements. Other authors sell mostly on Amazon.  Learn all you can, find your style and then go for it!  Xo (more) Don’t give up. It takes time and trying different avenues. I have given away sets of my books to book stores, which in turn end up ordering more and putting them on their shelves.
