About Us

Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a part of us; a part of our life story. Like many personal stories, ours has elements of physical challenges, of which IBS is one. IBS is often accompanied by painful emotions, cloudy thinking, and unhelpful behavior. Like many storms, ours has blue skies and stormy days. Turtle Gap, Inc. is offering a group forum, Befriending My IBS, in order for us to provide education and support to those who experience IBS storms. The focus of this group forum is on learning how to befriend our IBS. Life isn’t about the storm, it is about learning to dance in the rain.

Indeed.  Research indicates play enhances sense of well-being.  Singing can trigger the parasympathetic branch of the vagus nerve, enhancing attachment and social engagement system, as well as well-being. No, I have never used paid ads.  My understanding is that paid ads generate the least amount of potential clients and networking the most amount.  Of course, client referrals are the best!
