It started when I was eight. I heard a song in my head and wrote down the lyrics. At age 12, I became a published author when I published my first poem and got paid for it. I worked on my high school newspaper and went to University of Maryland College of Journalism and became an editor. I have been and editor/writer ever since. My career has evolved as technology has evolved. In 1992, I began my business while working full-time. In 2003, we moved across country, and I needed a way to keep my job so I switched to freelancing full-time and working part-time.
