We are a small, locally owned business dealing in vinyl records, 45's, 78's CDs, DVDs, rock, pop, jazz, children's, country, folk, holiday, classical, American songbook, antique recordings and memorabilia.
How We Got Started
Christa (the owner) has been a musician and singer her whole life and started a record shop about 14 years ago. We were located in Harwich and just opened our new location at Barnacle Betty's in West Dennis, MA.

First, try state and federal grants beyond PPP, since PPP has limited application beyond payroll. Second, try the SBA disaster loan assistance program. It's a loan and you pay interest 3.25% on ours, but can be used for stock acquisition - more freedom on money use versus PPP and grants and you can always pay it back early. I don't have problems with loans as long as the rate is low and we can usew use it for inventory and or service revenenue generation as long as the cash flow is there for debt service. State may also have some small bix lending options in place - good luck - Pete!
I would go more by how I felt meeting the person, but stability in prevous jobs, good written referrances and experience.

if it's for a wedding or general function, I guess it would have to be that the music be well rounded with something for everyone. Plus good sounding equipment is important.
