#1 Tip is tough, as there are so many pieces that go into a strong Local SEO strategy.  However, the top of that list would have to be local stories, press releases with local, regional and national outlets and share those via social. "#1 on search engines in 30 days" is such a vague and visionless goal that you could literally provide any answer.  You can literally say, "You're #1 for your business name + city" voila!   (more) "#1 on search engines in 30 days" is such a vague and visionless goal that you could literally provide any answer.  You can literally say, "You're #1 for your business name + city" voila!

The professional should be able to help walk you through the journey, why this is effective, and what you can expect to generate - or - at least identify some goals given your business model, target audience, service delivery, and revenue goals.  Other factors do include your reputation, brand, and company culture.  This isn't talked about enough - a lot of companies will run a campaign on your behalf and speak unprofessionally to your prospects that decline an offer.  Professionalism should ring true from your company, your ad or marketing professional, directly into your inbound SDR team.
