How We Got Started

SpotOn began as a Digital Loyalty Platform. Merchants signed up to offer their customers a digital loyalty program that increased customer retention and spend per visit. We then added credit card processing, Marketing, Review Management, Appointments, Website (build, host and maintain, with or without an ecommerce option) and Gusto payroll. SpotOn offers the most modern credit card processing terminals, sleek mobile terminals and sophisticated Point of Sale systems for the retail, restaurant and professional services industries.

I pull out my mobile phone and dial our support number. It's our only number, the one you can Google, not some "special" backdoor number. The phone rings and I press #1 for English (we have English, Spanish and Vietnamese). Then I press #1 for Support. A human being answers. Ain't no robot. I... The phone rings and I press #1 for English (we have English, Spanish and Vietnamese). Then I press #1 for Support. A human being answers. Ain't no robot. I ask a techy-type question and the human being answers it directly and correctly, first time every time. I thank them and hang up. Then I ask the client to call THEIR merchant services provider. "Hah! Hah!" they laugh. They already know they'll be put on hold by a robot.
