Fran Jessee - Publisher, Business with Purpose
Many know me as Fran the Spice Lady, where my work with spices, herbs, wellness, and education shaped the communication, storytelling, and trust-building skills I now bring to publishing.
Today, that foundation has grown into legacy-driven publishing. I bring decades of creative entrepreneurship, printing, production experience, and practical business judgment to lasting projects. I offer done-for-you, guided, and structured DIY publishing paths for people ready to document a life story, body of work, or hard-earned expertise.
I am a founding member and lead publisher for Business With Purpose (BWP), helping steward collaborative, purpose-led books. I also serve as publisher for David Selley’s 18-book legacy series, created as part of his Guinness World Record attempt.
Helping people tell their stories is deeply meaningful to me. We never know who will read those words, feel less alone, find courage, or be changed by shared wisdom.
My work in publishing is not a pivot — it’s the natural culmination of a lifetime spent turning creative ideas into finished, meaningful work. From early experience in printing, book production, and creative design to building ventures like Fran Jessee Typesetting, my first business in 1971 to Blooming Invitations on Etsy and many more in between. Focusing on helping people shape and share what matters.
Many know me as Fran the Spice Lady, where I built Longevity Spice Blends around health, creativity, and connection. That chapter sharpened my ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and create products with purpose — skills that now define my publishing work.
Today, I specialize in legacy-driven publishing, stewarding serious projects with structure, clarity, and care. This includes serving as publisher for David Selley’s completed 18-book legacy series, produced as part of his Guinness World Record attempt to become the oldest author to publish the most books in a single year.
