Yes; I applied for the Citizens grant through Great Lakes women-owned enterprise. However, I noticed when they published who received the grants, it was the same people that are always in the spotlight. I know I met the criteria, however I did not receive their grant. I have been successful with Oakland County. I really appreciated the reopening kit Executive David Coulter provided small businesses. The Oakland county grant was awarded for women-owned business and I was a recipient. This will help me pivot and expand my training resources to offer Financial Literacy within the community. Also, have been able to retain employees.
