I was fortunate to get the PPP loan, however, I went through Kabbage instead of the large bank.  Just yesterday the SBA deposit the EIDL advance after pulling my credit report yesterday. I was able to get funded through the first round.  I hope others are successful in this second round. I wish I had kept my business debt-free.  There so much more you can do and handle in your business with out business debt.  Therefore my goal is to pay off all business debt. Every year I give my clients pocket calendar with a pen and tote bags with my company name on them. Sometime I give other unique gifts. However, thepocket calendar and pen has been a favorite so I order new ones every year as they come to expect them now like a tradition. My first clients were family and friends. They started spreading the word about my business. As of today I still get majority of my clients via referrals. In my experience they tell me what I should buy instead on letting me make my own decision. I once was pursuing rental properties where I was able to purchase two condos in foreclosure, the realtor kept telling me I would be better off buying a house and renting it out. That is not what I... (more) In my experience they tell me what I should buy instead on letting me make my own decision. I once was pursuing rental properties where I was able to purchase two condos in foreclosure, the realtor kept telling me I would be better off buying a house and renting it out. That is not what I wanted. I ended up purchasing the two condos directly from the bank without a realtor. Got a really good deal. I currently still own them and collect rent. Best of all I own them out right with no mortgage.
