I first meet with the client and go over what they need for functionality. What is the room used for? Is it just a place to sleep or is it a reading area, tv area? How many hours are spent awake in the space. Then I find out what style they are wanting to accomplish with the make over. I think the furniture in bedrooms really needs to reflect the owner more than the actual home. I then use my 20/20 program to show them 3 D how the new space will look with the furniture pieces.
In the United States there are stricter guidelines for safety on products. Look for items with low VOCs and made in America. I not only design, but I am also a vendor for cabinets, countertops and flooring, so I go to all the factories and training seminars to learn about the products I sell....

You can research all the products on the computer very easily and see product content.

My product is a little unique in the fact that I am selling the client not only product, but also the design of their dreams. I meet with clients and measure their space and document how they cook and use the space. Once I have the measurements and clear idea of what they are wanting to accomplish I start on the actual design. I use 20/20 program to do a full color 3D rendering of their space. I not only show them what they had in mind, but also use my 14 years of experience to show them what organization accessories would really help them declutter and be more efficient in the kitchen. I meet with all services on a kitchen remodel from builders-electricians-plumbers and flooring installers to do the project management service for the clients. I truly take their vision to the next level. I believe the client needs to be a big part in making choices and it is my responsibility to educate them on each purchase so they make the right decision for their home. We take full service Beyond the expected.

I would say one of my biggest is when I design a space to eliminate clutter and go back and the countertops can not be seen. Also when a customer says they want French Country 😂 because they don’t actually know what that look is. Most clients listen to my ideas, but they always have a neighbor...

Also when a customer says they want French Country 😂 because they don’t actually know what that look is. Most clients listen to my ideas, but they always have a neighbor that knows something even though they have not a clue, so wasted time correcting others false information!
