How We Got Started
MLSC was founded in 2006 by David Reynolds MD in order to provide a local institution that specializes in Gastrointestinal health issues. MLSC is a certified Class B institution that maintains accreditation with the department of health, Medicare, and AAAHC. MLSC has been recognized by the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy as an institute of higher excellence.

We have placed many new restrictions which the greatest majority of our patients/clients really appreciate. We have family members wait in the car to reduce volume of people within the building. We also schedule visits in a second, outreach, office in Blakely in order to meet demand of clients in that area as well as decreasing the volume of people within the Honesdale office. Seating areas are 6 ft apart in the waiting area. All surfaces are cleaned thoroughly after every single patient encounter. All staff and patients must wear a mask for safety of all. While we find the greatest majority of patients continue to desire to come into the office we also offer Telehealth visits from home for those who don’t feel safe. Our staff are always available by phone to answer questions regarding test results to create ease and convenience to our clients. Our physicians have received awards for their in depth attention to cleanliness and patient safety. They also all remain Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and each of them reign from the highest ranked educational institutions.
