A better option if lender can do is to apply the payments to the end of the loan, but still affects credit. Whatever you decide to do, get it in writing and go over terms carefully so you understand how this will affect you.

As a realtor, I like my clients to be pre-approved before I show them homes, In the process of getting pre-approved they establish what monthly payment they are comfortable with, I like my clients to have both parts so that I am not showing them a home that is over what they would be comfortable... Some buyers think they are ready to buy, but when the lender pulls the info they may be months off from buying, no sense in looking and falling in love with something they can not make an offer on until they are ready to buy.

I have worked for both big name and small local company, while my service does not vary, most of clients had no idea who this small local company was, I am now back under big name, when I say Century 21 there is no question what I do.
