About Us
Veteran imagemaker, Tommy Ewasko is an artist dedicated to producing unique, exacting and exciting creative photographic imagery. A cum laude graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology in professional photography & Filmmaking and based in Orange County, California. Enjoying collaborations with a new field of creatives, Tommy continues pursuing award-winning partnerships with the finest, designers and creative directors from LA / Houston / New York, and beyond. The utmost importance is understood from the start .. "Achieve the goals for the client visually with high quality imagery that delivers the message and strengthens their brand!"
How We Got Started
It all started with my Dad who instilled in me the desire to give 150% effort into everything that I want to accomplish. It was my Mom who reminded me to stop and take time to smell the roses! Together they guided me to understand that I should treat everyone the way I would like to be treated. The mantra to live your life ... was one key element RESPECT. I am very thankful for my parents and their thoughtful way, as are my four brothers who worked along side me for many years in my Dads business. After 46 years in business Dad really knew a thing or two ..especially about being humble, caring, and hardworking.
I was asked one time after painting a wall in the shop .. "Son are you happy with the work you did today?" Yes Dad! "Would you sign your name on that wall?" I climbed down the ladder and said "I gave it a 150% Pop!" .. and I signed the bottom right hand corner! Now when I sign gallery prints for my collectors I think of that wall. Let's create together!

I would rather give my in house marketing a chance to generate clients. But if someone knows more and has tried it with those two particular sites and has recieved clients and jobs please let us all know your experience. There was a company called Imagebrief and that is now defunct. Maybe it's just not good for my type of creative business/service/product. Still an excellent question thanks for posting!

The answer is a simple one. As I looked into the future and studied at RIT .. I was told that I had the ability to see.
The first person to say this to me was Professor Wes Kemp. He explained that with training and desire there will become a passion inside me to use this gift. After that conversation many professors, experienced Photographers, Art Directors, Creative directors, Graphic Designers, Editors with Getty Images, and Artists and Art Buyers alike from many lands gave me the same wonderful comment.
I am very grateful to have had some of the greatest individuals in the business of imagery as my mentors and I cherish every relationship.
I view this as an opportunity to say thank you to everyone for believing in my ability to see and create beautiful unique imagery. My hat is off to all. I learned a tremendous amount from our association and most of all our friendship!

We have let the line out for as many as two years to secure a relationship with a perspective client! There are times when a client must see a track record with how you have progressed in an area that you may not have had spectacular examples to show. ...

We have let the line out for as many as two years to secure a relationship with a perspective client! There are times when a client must see a track record with how you have progressed in an area that you may not have had spectacular examples to show. Then a project comes your way that has all the attributes that this potential client needed to see.
For instance let's say we created work for a similar type company. Well that executed project now becomes the premire sample that you needed to present. Once this sample of your expertise (in the same genra) is understood, then you are hopefully seen in a brighter light because you have shown that you are firing on all cylinders and clearly have studied what the potential client requires from your studio and you are finally awarded a project from them!

That is a frequent situation with introducing my Professional Imagery ...
..but I have learned to respect the fact that not everyone has a handle on the creative or left brain thinking. The solution is to try to bring them along so they can appreciate the time, the energy, the professional (years of experience) in the industry, and the background knowledge and education that it takes to be on the forefront and CUTTING EDGE of Advertising Imagery.
You must provide in a very simple way.. all the education that a client needs to know about what you bring to the table and why YOU should be hired to introduce their product to the world, that is what you must strive to accomplish!
This is where Aretha Franklin gets her Cue' .. and you will get a little Respect! ...Just a little bit! The world's gonna miss Aretha's mission! RIP.
