What do you think about Congress extending the unemployment benefits that provide an additional $600 per week to recipients?

If you're not paying enough to keep your employees, then shame on you. Having a stable, healthy, well trained and paid workforce is the only way the economy will ever be stabilized.

250 for 40 hours work is 6.25 per hour. Do you really call that a living wage? One of my 3 jobs was minimum wage driving over the road minimum 12 top 15 hours a day, and not every day because it was an on call job with a hour limit of 29 hours a week per company rules. So, if I got 29 hours it would be 252.00 before taxes, and after taxes, well we know how that goes. And this job take me from state to state, there is no way they can keep me safe, and for me, my safety is what counts. It was hard work at times, but it could be enjoyable at times, and believe me I would rather be working than staying home, even though the pay stunk.
It seems to me that if they can come up with this money why can't they help supplement wages to help employees and employers.
