About Us
The Greater Huntsville Humane Society has been providing shelter for homeless pets for more than fifty years. We provide housing, vaccinations, microchip and spay & neuter services to the animals. We work to find a forever adoptive home for every animal. We are a no kill shelter. We also provide support to low income families with pet food and help with emergency vet care. We have a Wellness Clinic on the second Saturday of the month for low income pet owners. Our Thrift Store supports the animals, programs and services. Visit www.ghhs.org
How We Got Started
Animals were in need of re-homing after original owners could no longer keep them.
