No work on Friday and Sunday (being over-worked produces poor quality). Devote those days to your homelife. Each day ask if you were productive because that's your goal to be productive everyday. Ask yourself "Have I been productive?" and this should hold you accountable in your freelance, part-time job and homelife.  Use your computer and setup a notification calendar, 15mins prior to begin work and 15mins to end the job. I hope this helps.

Whats worst about the situation you don't get the hits the site with your business gets the hits your site should be getting. This is the reason why Facebook is probably ranked #1  because it feed off of businesses like yours traffic.  I always tell my clients NEVER put all your business information on social media ... you need links to direct them to your website to complete the process. Never put your whole gallery there you only need a few to direct them to your website. If you are a public speaker and post words of encouragement, never give it all away in social media ... write just and excerpt and have the rest linked to your website. Why pay social media to boost your website when its only using your money to boost itself. Remember as long as it carries www.socialmedianame/yourbusinessname its not yours. The purpose of a domain is to have your business name first ... in most social networks they offer you to add your business but they market themselves. There are several tools you can use to allow viewers to interact on your website and be linked to your social media page in real-time.

However if you are not experienced in coding the blog platforms might be for you just remember you will need protection especially when you attach social media as a widget to your website. Social media should never be your website. Branding your business is most important and having a social media brand associated with your business will not get you the goal you are striving for.  Have your own web hosting and domain. This is what how you can market your business. Attach your social media links buttons, widget, box to your website for streaming purposes ... whatever you post in social media you can post through email marketing which is another avenue you can use for free when you have your own web hosting. Too many businesses promote Facebook, Twitter, and IG simply because they don't have their own web hosting. The best results began with you ... market you ... your business, use social media to get the work out but direct them to your website.

Not much difference between the two. I think you should start over and have at least 3 different concepts instead of just 1 design. (more) Not much difference between the two. I think you should start over and have at least 3 different concepts instead of just 1 design.

No I think people being people are going to get tired of their site looking like everyone else. Would you buy a Bentley but it has the same features as a Ford? Whats the point? Whomever does the coding should get together and make it compatible for all browsers. HTML5 is ridiculous ... there is so much coding that goes on when you want to customize your own audio ... none of the audio look the same  ... everything is driven toward mobile devices, you would think that flash which the only file to look the same in all browsers be a of web development. I don't mind coding from scratch in flash if the outcome is better than these mixedup web browsers.

I'm a fine artist with a concentration in oil painting however I understand that limiting myself just to fine arts would not benefit me. I have been trained in Graphic Arts ... Computer Art (there is a difference) web designing, photography, printing, worked in Mac, and Microsoft platforms. Just say I'm an artist ... yes I have done sculpting also ... as for WordPress I usually help others who uses the WordPress platform for their website. Since WP provides templates I don't consider it as web designing, the only fun part of it hard coding on the back-end. WP is a do it yourself platform unless you use it only for blog purposes and code it to be compatible with your website. Then there is the malware issues ... thats another story.

Hi Dorothy, if you want to remain with the Wordpress platform I would suggest google (doctors websites in images) and search the style you were aiming for then look for something similar in a Wordpress template. It might not be Wordpress, it could be your PC (clear cache), image rendering (images dpi are too big), alt tag coding (name your images), title coding (naming your links). If these are your problems, if you switch to HTML hard coding ( coding from scratch) you will still have the same problems.
