Spiral of Light Energy Alignment
Reiki (pronounced, “ray-key”) refers to Rei, meaning “universal” (in the spiritual dimension) and Ki meaning “vital life force” which flows through all life. Together Reiki represents the concept of the “universal life force”.blue flower
Reiki is an ancient healing practice that utilizes the natural life force energy of the Universe to balance and align the chakra system. Mikao Usui founded the practice in Japan in the early 20th century.
Through workshops and attunements, sacred rituals, students are aligned to this energy and are able to help clients resonate to a higher level of healthy vibration as they receive Reiki. Usually offered while a client relaxes, fully clothed, on a massage table, the practitioner gently touches or holds her or his hands over the chakras. The Reiki energy resonates with the client to influence, open, and strengthen the chakras.
Chakras are spinning discs of energy located along the center line of the human body, starting at the crown. The Chakras are located at the crown, third eye, heart, solar plexus, sacral, and root or base of the spine. Each Chakra is one of the colors of the rainbow.
When our Chakras are open, and spinning with energy flowing through and around them, and are balanced in relation to each other, we are healthy. Reiki helps bring balance to the Chakra system, opening the Chakras by clearing blocks, and strengthens them. During Reiki Workshops students learn about the Chakras and how they work.
Reiki enhances the healing process in the way most needed by the individual receiving the treatment. This may occur on a physical level, an emotional level, a spiritual level, or a combination of these.
Reiki is pure energy or vibration. It is a holistic technique for balancing the natural life force. When it is combined with the sincere intention of the recipient to be open to whatever form of healing is needed, a sense of harmony and well being can be achieved.
