If you can see it in your mind, we can make it a reality. Whether it’s recognizable campaigns, innovative marketing strategies, or the perfect brand design that makes you look polished for customers and investors alike, BrandPolished is your solution for connecting with the right person, in the right way, at the right time.

How We Got Started

BrandPolished began in 2010 when Dorian Roberson and Richard Silverberg decided to take their shared love of business, art, and science to serve small businesses and serial entrepreneurs. The idea was developed after watching CNBCs The Profit with serial entrepreneur and businessman Marcus Lamonis. His belief in people, process, and product is something all small businesses should strive for. We wanted to help make that a reality - without Lamonis' checkbook. It is our belief that any business can make a mark with great branding, great people, and the processes to make it all work together.

It may not make for a great tagline, but it could defintely be used in some of your marketing material. The best advice that I can give would be to tell them what you do. While you do solve complex problems for clients, that still doesn't tell me what you do or if you could possibly help me. The title Financial Advisor may already make some customers feel intimidated. The first question that would come to my mind is, "how do I know if I have enough money to need a Financial Advisor?" Throwing words in like complex, can actually make customers confused or put off. As a simplification, you help individuals and businesses decide what to do with their money. So you might try something like: "You make the money, we'll help you decide what to do with it." It should appeal to both individuals and businesses and allow you to go into the specifics of how you can help based on their needs. Hope this helps!

I wouldn't. SEO is an ongoing process and you need to be able to work hand in hand with the person who is doing it so that you come to your goals and not theirs. Also, getting to the first page of Google may not necessarily be the goal. Whether you're doing SEO for yourself or your clients, I'd suggest finding an SEO expert that you can work with collaboratively based on business goals. Make sure that they understand exactly what you want to accomplish with your SEO plan. Just my opinion. Please reach out if you have any other questions.

Small local businesses who have compelling brands set themselves apart simply because their competitors may not have thought to brand themselves either. Make your website, location, and any information you give out as polished as you possibly can. Work with someone to make sure that you are giving your current and potential clients every possible way of getting to know your business through your website and social media pages. And make sure you are connecting on social media to people who already know, like, and use your service. Small business can stand out just like the big boys. Check out my website for examples of small businesses and entrepreneurs I've worked with to take their businesses to the next level. Reach out if you have any other questions.

I'm sure it's one all small business owners ask themselves from time to time. My best answer would be: ask for help when you NEED it! When you own the company, you where all the hats. It's impossible to do everything and to be good at everything. Sometimes, it's not even a matter of whether you know how to do something or not. It's about whether you can split yourself in half for the third time to get to it. If sales and service are down and you've exhausted all of your own ideas, call someone in to assist. Most consultants allow for at least a 30 minute free consultation and even if you don't go with the service, it may stimulate new ideas and give you a sense of direction. Don't let ego kill your momentum. Get feedback on what you are currently doing and make adjustments. Hope this helps!

I absolutely love Insightly. It's fairly user-friendly and if you're not sure of something, they have video tutorials on Youtube. It connects to everything including Dropbox, Quickbook, and Evernote. Never been easier to keep up with our projects, our clients, and keep our entire team in the loop. (more) I absolutely love Insightly.
