If your property, say a vehicle, is in the repair shop and they damage it further, whose liability insurance should pay for material and repair? Yours or the repair shop's?

Well, once the car has been given into the care of the repair shop, it really does become their responsibility. However, if it is a damage that worsened due to some previous condition, their company might be able to prove it was not their fault, ergo, your insurance policy would have to pay for the repairs.
