Social Media and Pay Per Click work well - again depending on the audience but more for consumers. Direct mail is making a comeback because everyone gets their mail and if a consumer receives something they are interested in, it sits on the counter and exposes the whole household to your message for an average of  14 days. No other advertising does that. For example, when I was selling my house I saved postcards from realtors and called them about listing my house. I specialize in direct mail so if you would like to know more, please get in touch.

I should qualify my opinion with the understanding that you should have a starting budget but not to limit yourself to that amount if a certain channel or channels are working well enough to increase your business more than the investment.  (more) I should qualify my opinion with the understanding that you should have a starting budget but not to limit yourself to that amount if a certain channel or channels are working well enough to increase your business more than the investment.

One introvert I know forced himself to go to a busy restaurant and sit at the bar once a week and talk to the strangers next to him. Try it at the gym, grocery store etc. Strike up conversations with strangers and you will find it’s easier and more fun than you think and you will get over your fear! Best Wishes!

(more) Dear Outed. I’m sorry to hear of the immaturity of your coworker. Never let anyone sabotage your happiness. Tell your GM what happened so they have the opportunity to address the situation - for example they could make a generic statement at a future meeting mentioning that office gossip undermines the team effort and takes the focus off of productivity. Carry yourself confidently and if you have close coworkers tell them you heard a rumor about yourself and you hope that gossip won’t affect your work relationship and that you are happy to clarify things if they have questions. The mere appearance of confidence in the face of gossip usually helps because the desired effect of shame or being withdrawn is not happening and people with quickly forget and get back to being a team.
