Social Media is necessary for any business! It allows for customers to be connected to your business, even when they're not directly in touch with you at the moment. A dead social media account, or no social media account can turn off visitors. They may even think your company is out of business! My advice is to make a social media account for your business! However, it all depends on what kind of business. Not every business needs certain social media accounts, my company has an Instagram, but we don't really need it for our kind of work. I believe Facebook/LinkedIn accounts are a must, for any business. The rest, is up to you. I think Twitter is the best to get more views/impressions for your business, by using popular hashtags! Social Media is a great form of organic marketing!
Our company uses customizable pens by pens.com. We add our contact information to it, and give them out to our clients. Pens are simple, don't take much space, and handy to have around. I believe they are a great marketing tactic.
