I guess some are out of work so feel they have the time to devote to studying. If the virus continues to spread      that may all change.  It is more difficult to get reporting done since one        commission has shut their offices until July 6th so anyone trying to get a      license processed will have to wait. I just pray that people pay attention to   the guidelines and we get this  virus beat as fast as possible. There are still   so many that don't believe it is  as dangerous as it is.

Lead generation is not going to begin to pay for the cost. People see you on social media, in advertising locally and they will make a visual connection. Do a good job and your best leads will actually come from your current or past customer.

Maybe you should try going to big department stores and visit with people that are shopping. Ask someone where something is (don't just say where is the bleach) say something like, do you know what isle the bleach is on? And smile when you say it. Learn to interact. I have know people that were crappy with people that did ok in real estate so it isn't impossible but you have a major hurdle to get over.

I would challenge them to stop and add up all the money and time it takes them to get a sale through. They get a percentage of the commission (not the whole thing), they pay board dues, MLS fees, continuing education fees, renewal fees, extra liability insurance and higher rate of insurance since they "haul" people around. I'm sure if I give it some thought I could come up with more - but you get the picture. No not a funny business I guess we're just plain dull. Happy New Year!

Be kinder and live the way God wants me to. I seldom do new years resolutions. Most people never keep them. Especially the weight one. If I vow to lose 10 pounds I might gain it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone. Hope you have a blessed Christmas. (more) Be kinder and live the way God wants me to. I seldom do new years resolutions. Most people never keep them. Social media is marketing and without it we wouldn't be in business. I consider the development of a new web page and the many social media sites I'm on to be the single most important thing I can do to promote my business and of course continue to give superb personal service to my customers.  (more) Social media is marketing and without it we wouldn't be in business. I used to go to a local dealership and it was not good! The small businesses tend to do a better job as they build and keep their business by word of mouth. Not a sign out front that says Ford, GMC, etc. on it.

I get more new business from referrals then any other way. When I first started the company I did a tremendous number of mail outs and that works as long as you keep it simple. Don't try to send a book. Now we focus on giving good personal service. It keeps the customer happy and they tell others. (more) I get more new business from referrals then any other way. I don't ask for reviews. I will ask if they've viewed my web page or other social media accounts and you can also tell them up front to check you out at the site you want them to review you on.  (more) I don't ask for reviews. Give a good review and you'll likely get one back. (more) Give a good review and you'll likely get one back.
