Based on the Big Island of Hawaii, Charla calls photography her fun and profession. Her style is spontaneous, unobtrusive, candid and fresh. Specializing in Family and Wedding Photography, Charla Photography serves Hawaii, Maui, Oahu, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai and destinations well beyond. The Four Seasons Hualalai, the Fairmont Orchid Resort, The Mauna Kea Resort are just a few of her favorite venues. The Hawaii beaches and rainforests are her studio.
Our team of photographers allows us expertise in event photography, maternity photography, studio photography, family photography, and architectural photography, commercial and product photography. We even have a portable exposed photobooth for weddings, corporate events and parties.

Actually, for me, I seemed to have no choice. I was photographing for a non-profit and individuals repeatedly asked me to photograph them or their events. When they insisted on paying me, I had to get a business license.
As my confidence in my skills increased, my business rapidly grew, and thus, my passion began to support itself and my family. That was 28 years ago.
Owning your own business always has it's ups and downs financially. That's part of owning your own business. I've found that two key elements of success are persistence and determination Failure rarely resides in their presence.
Also, accelerate toward opportunity. In other words, don't be lazy.
A positive attitude, tolerance, patience and most of all appreciation for what, and more importantly, who we have around us is the key to success in life and business.
