That is not only a good question, but a critical one for one's sanity. First, it is often difficult to separate the two, but, unless there is a dire or critical reason to discuss the business/office at home, that is truly off the table. If a patient's health or well-being is at risk, then obviously we will address our patient's needs immediately, but, routine care that has no urgency is not dealt with at home. As those who have relationships at work, it is not only patient care that comes up, it is business planning, human resources, marketing, and much more. We tend to make time to discuss items that are festering or need our attention away from work, but we tend to be very discriminating and value our time and peace. If you're looking for a simple answer, that just doesn't exist as "life" needs some flexibility and understanding, both for business and home.

Any stimulus package for small or medium sized business must be reviewed and assessed based on need through appropriate authorities. I am not sure the SBA is the correct policing unit. Our business has held up independently and we have not been in need of any stimulus although I know we would qualify for at least 2 of the programs offered. We are one of the "lucky" ones. Other colleagues have not been so fortunate. Such packaged stimuli must be evaluated, and properly distributed, based on quantifiable need, and care must be taken to avoid additional state and federal financial burden. Any assumption of stimulus packages without need is irresponsible and should be prosecuted. Just my opinion.

We directly ask our patients if they are happy with their service at our office and ask that they speak to those they know and recommend our services to them. We also provide office brochures so that they can directly present them to potential patients/customers. Lastly, we ask for their reviews and use review builders for our website. There is a marked growth and positive result from all word-of-mouth referrals. This has always been a marked growth marker for our mature business.
