I work from home as a freelance graphic designer. The one thing I wish I knew before starting this work at home business is how to use a computer and the internet to it’s full potential. When I started working in graphic design in 1975, computers where unheard of. When I started learning to use a computer for my design work, it was a struggle and it continues to be so because technology, for me is hard to keep up with.
My favorite customer success story is when I started doing freelance graphic design for Eastwood Homes. I have now been doing work for this home builder for about 15 years.

Hi Terri, Sorry but I can't answer that question. I only do Graphic Design for print, not web design, audio or video. At 63 years of age, I barely know enough technology to keep up with the Graphic Design that I do.

I have found that if you offer FREE stuff, you will get noticed. Also, for my freelance design work I offer quick turnarounds. Since I work from home, I can work nights and weekends to make this happen. Check out my free stuff here:
