How We Got Started
In 2006 the outlook for the Katy area was growth both for business and residential. We felt the need would be there for a local company to provide services for this growing market.

We provide a security cabinet that holds 60 lbs of paper and service the unit every 6 weeks for $30.00 per pickup.

While working a 2 day trade show a man walked up to our booth 10 to 15 minutes before the end of the show when everyone is tired and packing up and very quickly asked what type of service we perform. I explained our service and he then said that he wanted 7 of our bins to go in his office for regular monthly service. I felt that this was too good to be true and that when I would call on Monday the phone number would be wrong or something else and it would not happen, however it was a real deal and they are still a customer today.
I have struggled with the number of search engines/directories there are. Some had wrong information which they bought from the phone company to establish their book of information. Resulting in the wrong phone number was listed (the number I had for my alarm system) which I no longer have since...

I have struggled with the number of search engines/directories there are. Some had wrong information which they bought from the phone company to establish their book of information. Resulting in the wrong phone number was listed (the number I had for my alarm system) which I no longer have since the alarm system went digital. And now that old number is forwarded to a machine recording that tells the caller they can give them the number to one of my competitors.
We hired a company to fix this problem and the latest report shows we went from 43% correct to 99%.

With our small business we attract new customers with our 20% off coupon for individuals ($1.00 off per box). These are distributed at our booth when we work a show. When the individual presents the coupon for our service we also let them keep for future use telling them it is a lifetime coupon....

This has worked out for us in that we do not have to try and advertise to them for future business.
When the individuals say thank you for shredding their papers while they watch and commenting how much time our service saved them and how good they feel that their confidential papers were handled correctly.
