Another resource I found helpful is a book called “Life After Loss”. There is a timeline depiction that maps the stages of grieving so an individual will anticipate in advance the stages we must pass thru in dealing with the loss of someone dear to us. The writing style is comforting and will provide a resource for those late evenings and mid morning times when you may feel overwhelmed with despair and aloneness. I’ve given this book to my friends several times over the years who have thanked me for referring them to this book.

That's great!  I use "The Grief Recovery Handbook" in my practice.
