2021 was shocking enough and when I discovered that the law included in the American Rescue Plan bill which was passed in March included a provision that requires third party payers to track its customers payouts in sum to $600+ I was shocked further. This indicates for example each time you sell an item on ebay or receive Zelle, Paypal etc the IRS is informed and will be sent a 1099-misc to track your íncome'. So you are taxed when you buy, taxed when you sell.

I have absolutely no concerns about business as usual. I suppose the only thought would be the continued ideas surrounding wearing masks and social distancing....all unnecessary.
