About Us

Welcome. Come as you are, and bring all of you. That's what makes you YOU.

Life is a journey of becoming—of discovering who we are and choosing what’s right for us.

I have worked in research libraries alongside scientists. I have taught in universities, supported families in respite care, and stood beside women in shelters. I became a mother, then a grandmother. A teacher, a gymnastics coach, and, ultimately, a counsellor. No matter where I went, I saw the same truth repeated:

Self-empowerment begins with self-acceptance.

When we know ourselves—when we believe in and embrace who we are—we create lives filled with meaning, purpose, and connection.

CHOOSE YOU.

As a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, I am here to support you in that choice.

Send me an email, and let’s talk about what you need. shelley.chosenpathways@gmail.com.

As a counsellor I employ a variety of techniques with a trauma informed lens, including Mindfulness, CBT, Narrative therapy, SFBT and I touch into DBT as well. My goal is to receive, to acknowledge, to support, to help the client dig deep to search for the answers they need.
