I compete by finding online wholesale sources that are cheaper than anyone can produce it themselves. I can sell at online retail pricing and still make money.

The challenge for printers in the digital age is to choose your target and technology and source it properly. Sure, I have customers that want business cards, but I direct them to an online source. Who can compete with that. I provide quality customer service for printed and installed murals, interior and exterior glass graphics, construction banners, vehicle wraps etc. Target services that are not easily available online. Fully understand the new and older technologies and all their pros and cons. I have jobs that require flatbed printing, screen printing, roll printing, frisket painting, you name it. Even involved with plexi fabrications for museums etc. Not much room for one trick ponies.
