The recruiting/contracting business is different than most others from a sales perspective as you are selling a person and not a product. Also it is all about building a relationship and not just a one time sale. I offer a larger split to my sales team and of course a residual on hourly billing... Also it is all about building a relationship and not just a one time sale. I offer a larger split to my sales team and of course a residual on hourly billing contractors for the life of that contract. You do have to remember the expenses and overhead you have to carry when figuring what you can offer a sales team, you/the company need to make money also. Congrats on your growth!
