My work is 95% referral but when I get slow maybe one or two months out of the year I will call old customers look on craigslist ,call general contractors, call property managers etc. there’s plenty of work out there you have to find it if you don’t have it ! You just need to be good and... How do you deal with a competitor not following legal requirements (OSHA and EPA standards, licensing, etc.)?

 I personally don’t worry about the other guys if they get in trouble with whoever it’s their fault . If you’re good at what you do this shouldn’t matter it doesn’t bother me .I guess you could tattletale but who likes a tattletale. Like I said if you’re good you wouldn’t have any problems with... Well being too busy is not too good for my buisness,Im a 1 man crew,I try to pick and choose the jobs because I can only do so much from bidding to doing the job,so I bid jobs as to be profitable for me!I work on 99% referals so the customer knows the type of work I do!
