Your quote depends on the services rendered. You can't offer this unless the client knows exactly what he/she wants or needs. Some clients are looking for a price point or a base from where to start. Be honest from the start. You can say that the quote can range from ? - ? depending on their needs...then encourage them to meet and discuss before making a decision. (Knowing the competition is important as both a seller and as a buyer . As a consumer, I've actually chosen slightly higher quotes when I feel/know I'm getting better service for my monies. But I will drop them, quickly, for over promising and underdelivering.)
