How We Got Started
I was a supervisor for a cleaning company that didn't give the customer what they were paying for, so I decided to start a business and do it myself as my standards where much higher. I started Mel's in 1995 but didn't start working it til September 1996. I am still working at it in 2020 and hope to serve these great people for many years to come.

I have been in business for 25 years in Polk County. I am a small business meaning I do most of the work myself. I have about 5 contractors that have stuck with me for years, which I love and appreciate them. Also I have clients that I have taken care of for 20 plus years. The reason I started my business is that I didn't like the quality of work the people I was working for was giving the customers. You see my customers are my family as well and are treated as such.
