We are a boutique CPA service providing tax planning, preparation, bookkeeping services to individuals, businesses, trusts, partnerships and not-for-profit entities throughout the United States. We also prepare Medicare and Medicaid cost reports for hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, hospices, ESRD's, rural health clinics and mental health facilities.

Clients that are deceitful, fabricate data, fight about fees and, in general, are high maintenance are considered "bad" clients. I usually fire them.

Most of my clients use either the cash basis of accounting or the modified cash basis. These two methods allow the greatest flexibility for tax preparation and legally to report revenue as the cash is deposited or the checks written. It also eliminates the need for an accrual to cash budget....
