She's a Gold Star Mom, which means she has unfortunately lost a son during active duty military. Her heart is pure, she understands loss and is first on the scene when someone needs an ear or a shoulder. An author of three books on the subject of loss K.D. is an expert at helping others move past the pain of loss and into a brighter day. K.D. is an international speaker and a subject matter expert on grief and getting past it. I highly recommend her to anyone experiencing the pain of losing someone. "

I do everything I can to shop local, but my purchases are limited to food for the most part, and household and personal hygiene products. As for discretionary items, I only buy books from Amazon. I am all for local, and will work hard to spread the word.  Hang Tough! We're a nation of fighters!! I originally requested consideration for the local leader program but I do not see my commentary on this page. I submitted it the very same day the original notice came out. If possible, I would still like to be considered for the responsibilities.  (more) I originally requested consideration for the local leader program but I do not see my commentary on this page.
