I also agree - time to find a new job. Once you have it secured, give your notice and request an exit interview and let them know why you are leaving. Keep it professional, but be honest. (more) I would classify this one under zany. I had a bride who I had not heard from like I do most brides when their day is approaching. Keep in mind she had booked two rooms for her large wedding on a Saturday evening during peak season. When I finally reached her, I asked to schedule a time with her to go over her menu selections and other details. After a few moments of silence she said she had to cancel and forgot to call. {This is something a sales person NEVER wants to hear a month out with no chance to re-book the space.} I asked her when she had decided to cancel, explaining that it would have been helpful to have known that sooner as it was peak season and turned away dozens of inquiries for that date, etc. Her response was simply “He died.” “Excuse me?” I said. She said “My fiancé died and I was too overwhelmed to call to cancel.” Well, not only did I feel horrible for lecturing her on not cancelling sooner, but I welled up with tears and apologized for my shortness with her and expressed my sincere condolences. She just said thanks and hung up. As terrible as I felt, as the day went on, something about her non nonchalant tone didn’t sit right with me. I decided I’d do a little digging courtesy of the Internet. Lo and behold, her fiancé was not only alive and well, but they had gotten married –- three months earlier -- at another venue in the area. Thank you, social media.

No one should ever settle for being the worst at anything. You'll only last on the winning team for so long. (more) No one should ever settle for being the worst at anything. You'll only last on the winning team for so long.

Some hospitals, depending on where they are located (urban vs. rural), require more staffing and nurses so the funds should be budgeted based on individual hospital needs.  IMO, nurses are the lifeline in hospitals & emergency rooms. The solution to the concern for patient safety and overburdened nurses is to hire more nurses. If hospitals refuse to do this now, why should I believe they will if this legislature passes? My vote is NO on question 1.

Flexibility, consistency and customer service. One group comes to mind -  their monthly meetings are usually 35 - 40 but sometimes they will have between 10 - 25 walkins.
